If we were to answer the question, "why does the skin look old", we will be mainly struck by wrinkles. However, they are not a clear indicator of biological age, many influences contribute to their origin. The basis of wrinkles is the loss of turgor and elasticity of the skin, and this can manifest itself and often manifests itself much earlier than we would expect. Why do we have more skin on our backs than on our faces? The skin in the face is exposed to more sun rays, so it is more stressed and wrinkles are more common than on other parts of the body. Fortunately, creams are made that can reflect sunburns and thus protect the skin.
It used to be attributed to the individual rate of aging, without taking into account that the skin in the places covered by the dress, or otherwise protected, does not show premature signs of aging and, on the contrary, contrasts well with the unprotected skin with its preservation and freshness. The difference between the aging of women's unprotected skin in urban and rural areas was also known, and more intensive skin care for urban women was attributed. Only research in recent decades has shown that these changes are mainly due to sun exposure, causing degeneration of the fibrous component in unprotected areas of the skin and other manifestations originally attributed to the signs of aging.
